Heather Allman lives in Colorado and has been a certified veterinary technician since 2004. She started in general practice and moved into many different areas of the industry, including research, nonprofit, and eventually practice management, serving as practice manager for a large specialty hospital for several years. Joining Vet2Pet as the marketing manager, Heather helps manage, coordinate, and organize marketing projects across the company to ensure projects are delivered on time. She also analyzes and revises workflows and processes.

Jade is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has always had a love for animals but knew she wanted to pursue a career in the industry after she was able to rehabilitate her dog Tubbs back to walking following a spinal injury. Her career in the veterinary industry began in 2013, initially as an assistant and then she passed her boards to become an RVT. She also worked as a Marketing Manager for a veterinary clinic in Louisville, KY and it was in that role that she was introduced to Vet2Pet when the practice signed up for the app. Jade quickly jumped on the opportunity to join the team and we’re so glad she did!

Born and raised in Indiana, Melissa Murray, RVT, graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in veterinary technology. After toughing it out in general practice for 8 years, she decided it was time for a less back- and heart-breaking career.

Making the jump to wrangling the English language rather than large dogs in desperate need of nail trims, Melissa joined the Rumpus Writing and Editing team in 2018, and pursued a full-time position in 2020. Now, she spends her days educating pet owners and writing marketing copy for veterinary professionals from her laptop, attending Zoom meetings, and yelling at her barking dogs (a highly effective strategy).

As a member of the Vet2Pet marketing team, Melissa is delighted to brainstorm ways to help solve the numerous pain points experienced by veterinary teams, and then write marketing copy that will effectively reach those teams.

In her free time, you can find Melissa coordinating her animals’ playtime, exploring the woods, or curled up with a frivolous book—no self-improvement or educational reads here!

FUN FACT: Melissa failed to explain the concept of goat math to her husband. Beginning with two goats—which he thought was the final, acceptable number—they are now up to 17 and counting.

After mastering the role of salesperson, Antonio had the opportunity to transition into a sales leadership role. He has built, led, and maintained high-performing sales teams in the veterinary and medical industries.
